The two maps illustrate the key modifications made to the layout of a bookstore between the year 2000 and the present.

Overall, while the bookstore has retained most of its original sections, it has undergone a notable transformation with the addition of a recreational space designed for visitors.

In 2000, upon entering the store from the sole entrance located on the left, customers first encountered the Travel and New Books sections. Proceeding straight ahead, the central area of the shop housed three sequential shelves dedicated to Art, Hobbies, and Cookery. To the left of these shelves was an expansive L-shaped area exclusively allocated for Fiction books. On the opposite side, a smaller yet centrally positioned stand was designated for Non-fiction books. A service desk was situated at the front-right corner near the entrance.

In the current layout, the bookstore has been restructured to include a cafe, enhancing the visitor experience. The entrance remains unchanged, and the Travel and New Books sections still occupy prominent positions near the front. However, the central area has been reimagined to feature three sets of tables, providing a comfortable space for customers to read or enjoy beverages. The original Non-fiction stand has been replaced by the cafe. The former large Fiction shelf along the left wall has been subdivided into four smaller sections, each now dedicated to Art, Hobbies, Cookery, and Fiction, respectively. The Non-fiction section has been relocated to the right corner of the shop. Notably, the service desk has remained in its original location throughout the redesign.
